The Beauty of Love

Description

True love does not come to everyone. Only the mature can experience true love.

The prerequisites for a mature love are the following.

1.The basic human desires need to be fulfilled.
2.The value and importance of love must be realized.
3.The ability to persevere through hardships and setbacks is needed. There are moments when one's own desires are sacrificed in order to love another.
4.The ability to love yourself.
5.A healthy relationship with the self (ego).
6.Possession of rational and reasonable ideals.
7.Independence from parents.

Mature love does not just happen; it comes about only after hard work and effort. More than anything, the ability to communicate and resolve problems effectively and the desire to be open and frank with others are needed. Of all the elements needed for happiness, besides health, love would probably be the most important among them. Without love -- just as in the case of health--everything will seem in vain, despite possessing all one could possibly want. Love is the main ingredient to life. Living means loving, and loving is living. Love brightens our days and fills us with vital energy. Without love, our life has no meaning, no purpose, and we are left with a sense of emptiness and despair. Love can be sustained through many different channels. In that light, love and sex can be considered to be independent, depending on the individual. Although very rare, there are couples that live fulfilled lives of love and affection, even if one of them may be sexually incapable. However, in most cases, love comes with the physiological need for sexual fulfillment as well. In order to sustain and develop a loving relationship, mutual sexual satisfaction is important.

If and when the sexual relationship is over, usually the demise of love and affection soon follows. Loss of sexual interest with one's partner can lead to boredom, tedium, and in some cases, loss of love, which is considered to be the key ingredient to happiness. Human sexuality is distinguished from that of animals by the unusually active participation of the brain (cerebrum). In contrast to the simple mating rituals animals undergo for purposes of reproduction only, human sexuality fulfills a much wider need involving the emotions, psychology, and intellect. In other words, human sexuality is very cerebral and has been traditionally treated by psychologists. However, with modern medicine and new surgical procedures to correct and treat sexual malfunctions and diseases, more and more responsibilities are shifting to the urologist. But let us not forget that human sexuality is still very much cerebral and that a discussion of it without consideration of the psychology behind it would be a big mistake. That is, of course, until the human brain and its activity can be fully understood at the molecular level. The attitude toward sex, whether it is positive or negative, greatly influences a person's sex life. All things equal, a person who sees a half full glass of water as opposed to a half empty glass will be at an advantage. A man who blames his wife's lack of orgasms on frigidity and shifts all responsibility to her, will never be able to correct the problem, much less have an enjoyable sex life. On the other hand, if the man considers this to be a problem they can work out together, and looks for a solution, he will be on his way toward a much more enjoyable sex life. Positive thinking gives people energy and nurtures positive behavior. And positive behavior, in and of itself, is a reflection of an improved quality of life.
