Who is a blogger?
A blogger is a person who keeps a Web log (blog) or publish an online diary. If you have a blog, then you are a blogger. Some bloggers called themselves diarist, journalist, or journalers. A few called themselves 'escribitionists'. Justine Hall who began eleven years of personal blogging in 1994 while a student at Swarthmore College is generally recognized as one of the earliest bloggers in the world.
What is a blog?
Blog is like an internet diary. It could also be a frequent updated journal. Blog often hosted by a third party. The web blog (or web log) is a specialized site that allows you or your group to share a running log of event and personal insights with online audiences. Whatever you write there, the whole world can see it, and can give a comment, if you allow them to do so. A blog contains all information of a blogger. Most blogger would keep a running account of their personal lives. It can be about and be used for anything at all. It can be used for news, reviews, previews, products, business, organization or even your thoughts.
The term 'weblog' was first used by Jorn Barger on 17 December 1997. The short form 'blog' was coined by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the word weblog into the phrase we blog in the sidebar of his blog Peterme.com in April or May 1999.
